The HSE Misc palette has a bunch of useful helper VI's that make things easier.

The loop timer palette can be used for improved loop timing within an event structure. This is quite useful for basic DAQ helper loops. The timing will be consistent independent if there are further events got fired. This timer can not avoid overpassing the time in case the execution of the “timed” SubVI takes longer.
